Excellent late 20th century solid sterling silver lidded ink well. Heavy thick glass that appears to have never been used. Glass is crystal clear and free if scratches, chips or cracks. Hinge is in perfect working condition.
Sterling Silver Lid is fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, the date "T" for the year 1993 and the makers mark "LJM" which is L J Millington
