Yes, that is an actual green shag rug under this awesome table! Behold the beauty of this iconic Mid Century Modern, Two-Tiered Coffee Table, straight from Queens, NY! This piece belonged to the owner's grandmother originally and it is in excellent condition. It is made of high quality yellow veneer with a wonderful shaped glass top. The sides are all 29" each, and the bottom tier stands at 16" and the top tier stands at 24". It has been disassembled for easy shipping and takes just minutes to reassemble. The bottom legs and the upper supports meet in the middle and screw together. There are brass rings at the feet of each leg and sleek button type end caps to keep everything today and sturdy. There are no scratches to the glass that I can see, although these pictures were taken before I cleaned the glass. There are only minor scratches to the finish of the veneer. Do not let this fun retro piece get away from you! (Sorry- the owner is keeping the shag rug!)
