Unknown origin/age (maybe early 20th century?); they appear to be quite old, based on review of similar chairs. The pressback design includes grapevine and shell motifs. At least a portion (if not all) of the oak shows typical tiger wood oak graining. The spindles are a pleasing shape and the double stretchers ensure a sturdy construction. Felt Safe Glides installed on all legs to protect your floors.
