Description: Exquisite Asian four (4) panel folding screen hand painted on squares of gold leaf with each panel framed in ebonized … more Exquisite Asian four (4) panel folding screen hand painted on squares of gold leaf with each panel framed in ebonized black lacquer wood. Gold leaf indicates wealth & power. Each panel has its own Asian brass decorative mounting bracket. The subject is two high culture people in the woods, one with royal horse & the other on foot. A third person, appearing to be a field workman, is shown center screen. A stream is flowing by on the right with mountains and pine trees in the background and flat boulders in the foreground. All colors are fresh & bright with a pop of red for the horse's saddle & a pop of blue clothing on one person. The gold leaf squares catch the light & are beautiful.
