Val's Dollhouse is proud to present the rare 1948 production line of Noritake's Vornay Blue pattern in this set of 6 salad plates. A bright white center is bordered by an inner thin gold band, wide cream/beige band and a stunning blue-turquoise bold band with gold gilt scroll overlay, and finally a captivating gold gilt filigree edge. These are in delightfully good vintage condition and coordinate with most Noritake patterns of the era.
This size is ideal as a dessert plate, small salad plate or in grand table settings a large bread and butter plate.
They are marked with the symbol of the maker's time period on the underside with the gold Noritake "M" surrounded by the classic laurel wreath and "Noritake China Vornay #4794."
