Irma Magid is included in the Directory of artists maintained by the NMWA (National Museum of Women in the Arts) Well-known artist and past member of Westwood and Beverly Hills Arts Associations. Had "one woman art shows" in London, The Hague, Palm Springs, ect. Born in New York City Sept. 22, 1909. Died on February 5, 2003. In her early professional life she was a well-known fashion artist and designer in New York and Chicago. In her later professional life she painted fine oil paintings and watercolors. less
