C1990s-2000s; Vintage Sirmos lighting 3-way lighted pendant, called the "opal" pendant, marble white on white with bronze brown finish to … Read more C1990s-2000s; Vintage Sirmos lighting 3-way lighted pendant, called the "opal" pendant, marble white on white with bronze brown finish to brass hardware includes, (chain, canopy, and disc covers to outer dome, body of pendant). Item # as referenced from catalog, and a "to the trade," industry represented line within Donghia showrooms, until 2009. This item is no longer in production, but original # is 70224A-103. The last digit denotes the finish to dome and hardware. It is an artisanal hand-applied marbling technique to the dome, cast resin canopy/domed round shell, with brushed bronze brass metal canopy, chain and discs. Maker's mark sticker is affixed inset one of the armatures holding the dome and wiring of one arm, within the lighting mechanisms/hardware. Chain link name is called combination link.
Designed by Kevin Corona, one of the principle owners, and the son of pam and lou bromante, the father whom purchased the company from a well known designer, that predominantly molded lighting, chandeliers and pendants in plaster, in the old world /Master's technique form, for the trade industry. This duo of brothers who took over the Bromante/Sirmos Corporation, from their parents, one was the intellectual, industrial creative lighting designer, while the other being the national sales/Marketing end of the family owned company. This company also had a gorgeous furniture line, eclectic onto itself, and beyond their additional, custom capabilities, which they were known for, such as; Paradise island resorts, huge lighting diorama with sea worthy mythology, or iconographic identities applied to the design of each and every piece allocated for the specificity to the project, including casino's, restaurants, bank buildings, Sak's Fifth Avenue, Walt Disney World, etc.

Indirect incandescent lighting, with standard edison bulbs, 3/60a max wattage, not included.

Additional chain may obtained via international ironworks, which purchased the Sirmos patents/Designs and lines"or" we maybe able to circumvent this, lighting store that specializes just on lighting, or your electrician electrifying it. It is wired and ready, the previous owners in palm beach, Florida cut the electrical cable wired leading to the ceiling/Outlet ceiling box, a simple task for your electrician, to splice and run the wire when installing.
