Rare Michelin “Paradis” tool box from the 1940s. This tool kit contained all the tools needed to repair a flat tire.
Dimensions 40cm x 20cm x 11,3cm
This decorative and rare French Michelin item is made of lithographed steel with an image of the "wounded" Michelin Bibendum on the front and inside.
The other Bibendum has the Red Cross sign on his arm.
The maker is G. De Andreis & Cie, Marseille.
The condition is generally good for its age, with also sign of use and age.
There is a crack at the hinge, see photo.
