This is a fabulous 1980s Michael Graves Desk Clock.
Born in the 1930s, Graves was one of America's finest architects designing iconic "Modern" and then "Postmodern" buildings throughout the USA. In the 80s and 90s he got into furniture and product design, creating almost 2000 pieces - many of which are now sought after collectors items.
This particular clock was designed by him in the 1980s and is representative of his style and design ethos. It works fine and is sure to be the conversation topic for whatever desk or shelf it eventually finds itself on.
Also of interest is the fact that this clock was sourced at the Sony Prop House in Los Angeles which closed down in September 2023. It has an old Sony label on it, so if you think you may have seen this clock in a film or T.V. show, then you probably have! I have no C.O.A. other then the Sony label which I assume was added so as not to lose it on a studio set somewhere.
Treat yourself, or someone you love to this retro and unique clock!
Size: 3 1/2" width x 3 1/2" height x 2" depth. It weighs 13oz.
All our items are well packed, tracked and fully insured. It will arrive to you in the exact condition as pictured.

BATTERY IS INCLUDED WITH PURCHASE! Aesthetically this clock is in good condition yet shows signs of age and wear as most vintage items do. The surface has dulled as is marked in places, I'm sure it will polish up well if you prefer that look. Examine all the pictures closely. Zoom in & out to get a good sense of it's exact condition: a picture tells a thousand words. The battery back cover is missing, but the battery sits firmly in it fine. (I'm not actually sure it originally even had a cover for the battery?). The item photos serve as a document as to its condition. You will receive the exact clock pictured here. less
