George F. Schultz (American, 1869-1934), Landscape Watercolor, Circa 1910. Listed artist, born in Chicago, know for landscape and marine paintings. Exhibited dozens of paintings at the Chicago Institute of Art between 1889 and 1925. Former president of the Chicago Water Color Club.
This offering is signed at the lower left. It depicts a tranquil twilight landscape scene. The date of production is estimated to be c. 1910. The painting is housed in a silver tone frame that appears to be of a newer age when compared to the painting. The frame measures 27" x 21" x 1". The mat opening is approximately 19" x 13".
The painting is in very good to excellent antique condition. The frame, most likely newer than the painting, is in very good to excellent condition as well.
