C.1980's; Post Modern, Italian designed, polished chrome domed and glass, discus chandelier/pendant, suspended with 3 wires, which are coated on plastic lining for handling/and rust control, manufactured this way. The center black tubing has the encased wiring system, which goes thru the chromed canopy. Today's suspended wires within this type of lighting, have exposed wires, not coated in the plastic or rubber lining from yesteryear. This type of chandelier is often referred to as a "flying saucer-style." Chandelier was, "ONLY," hung once within a dining room setting for a special engagement in Upstate, NY., and thus taken down to transport and has been preserved within the original packaging by owner's, thus when we acquired it. We have had the wiring checked and is in original working condition. we were told even the Halogen light used is original upon inspection. Halogen Light up to 120V. We have inputed an image of the type of Halogen lighting required, but this one currently is working. There is a circular frosted and chrome surrounded center underneath he dome, whereupon there are inset, brass screws in which to take off in order to replace bulb at any given time. Professional electrician has checked this and is in working order, In great condition.

Glass Dimension's: 20"Diameter x 3/8" thick Tempered glass.
Overall Height to top of canopy and base of dome: 44"H.
*Should one desire to make it less high, appropriate to one's domain, the wire can be loosened, and cinched within the canopy, or tightened. Wired can also be cut, or curled within canopy, BUT adhere to an electrician doing so, as they are the professionals, when hanging, AND/OR changing from the original height. less
