Description: This is a group of Staffordshire figures five in total. The first being a Staffordshire Figures of a woman and … more This is a group of Staffordshire figures five in total. The first being a Staffordshire Figures of a woman and a man holding a catch of fish. The brown-haired lady is dressed in a peasant blouse, skirt, and apron. She is wearing a white hat and black shoes. The white tie on the hat flows into her collared white blouse. She has a nice face with rosy cheeks. The skirt is still attractive with good colors on the circular designs and the violet hem. The white apron is outlined in blue and has a blue dot decoration. The male figure is wearing a blue striped shirt, black boots and hat. With a basket of fish sitting on a stone wall. There is a vent hole on the back side of each. These figures are Victorian, circa 1880's. They stand on a approx. 5" x 3-3/4" oval base x 13" high. The next pair is of figures is a School Boy and Girl, he is carrying a satchel and she is carrying a book Circa: 1870 Size: approx. 12” high and have vent holes in back. The last is a single figure that did belong to a pair, this is a rare and impressive Staffordshire figure of a young girl seated on a goat, she has a red hat and white dress. There is a small firing hole in back. Approximate dimensions are 7”x 2”x 12”. Circa 1865. less
