Portrait of a Young Man is a Pencil Drawing realized by Valentine Hugo (1890-1968). Good condition on a yellowed paper included a white cardboard passpartout (37.5x55 cm). No signature. Valentine Hugo (1887–1968) was a French artist and writer. She was born Valentine Marie Augustine Gross, only daughter to Auguste Gross and Zélie Démelin, in Boulogne-sur-Mer. She is best known for her work with the Russian ballet and with the French Surrealists. Hugo died in Paris. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
