With a bezel-set cabochon carnelian that has an intaglio carved image of an Ancient Greek or Roman scholar or philosopher.

The carnelian is oval shaped and set in a wide-banded, unmarked 18K setting.

Simply a wonderful, substantial ring!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
There is some minor loss to the edge of the bezel setting and some scratches to the face of the carnelian. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
