The rustic Japanese terra cotta pottery gives an earthy quality to the lamps, allowing them to be placed in multiple settings including mid-century-designed homes and country rooms and romantic Idaho ranches. Both lamps are in good condition. There is rubbing, pitting and firing flaws throughout the pottery which adds to the desirability and character of the lamps bases.
