- I purchased this bolt of silk when I was in Bangkok from the Jim Thompson Thai Silk Store - I … more I purchased this bolt of silk when I was in Bangkok from the Jim Thompson Thai Silk Store - I planned to make curtains for my 12 floor to ceiling windows in my New York City Loft. I never did it and twenty years later I live in a much smaller apartment with no need for the silk which I keep saving because it's so beautiful . .but I have no purpose for it, much as I hate to give it up. It's a light green/grey and I am happy to send someone a swatch. There are two bolt of fabric - the exact same lot of fabric, off the same larger bolt . . . .One piece is 30.5 yards and one piece is 8.33 yards. less
