This is a rare, 1970s, Limited Edition (1101/2500), signed, Gerhard Fuetterer, commemorative, porcelain vase. The frieze depicts “Scenes from the Tomb of Tutankhamun”, and was created exclusively for the Ghent Collection, by Kaiser Porcelain, at Staffelstein, Bavaria, made in West Germany, since 1872. The vibrant, rich colors are simply enthralling and the Hieroglyphs are fascinating!
Unlike other similar Tutankhamun vases (fakes or originals) this one is almost flawless. Truly a superior piece—with a stamp of authenticity on the bottom. less
