Offered is a highly polished Sterling bowl, features a .5 inch wide handle, a scalloped bowl with a reticulated .5 inch band at top of bow, clean finished edge, stamped at base with "Weidlich maker's mark" and "STERLING, 7797 1/2", etched "20B254".
Weidlich Sterling Spoon Co. was founded around the year 1915 in Bridgeport, CT. The silversmith company manufactured sterling silver flatware, hollow-ware, and souvenir spoons. Weidlich's pattern dies were acquired by the Web Silver Co. in 1952.
