This gorgeous, detailed statue of a well-known widely … more Bodhisattva Devi- female Bodhisattva is known as the Buddhist Goddess of Wisdom. This gorgeous, detailed statue of a well-known widely worshipped Deity is free standing at approximately 32 inches tall and mainly composed of brass copper and possibly a bronze or type of heavy mixed media metal. A detailed single floral stem adorns her left arm while the Buddhas hand is held close to the heart with thumb and forefinger tips touching symbolizing the transmission of the knowledge gained after attaining enlightenment. The right arm extends downward and out palm gently facing outward and open. This statue was previously owned by a North Carolina Supreme court judge who obtained it as gift from a Foreign Diplomat. less
