I'm beyond thrilled to present for sale this truly monumental, one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted, intricately and ornately carved Balinese/Javanese/Indonesian teak wood armoire cabinet with the following fine features:
- Made of solid teak wood with framed flame mahogany panels on the doors and sides
- Measures a monumental 91 inches tall (7 feet 6 inches) x 55 inches wide (4 feet 6 inches) x 24 inches deep and weighs some 500+ pounds
- Inlaid bronze accent door handles with locks and key
- Expertly carved traditional Balinese/Javanese/Indonesian details throughout
- Expertly carved ornate giltwood floral accents on top crest
- Four ornately hand-carved stubby feet allow for air flow beneath
- Two front doors open to a huge cavity with three (3) affixed shelves
- In perfect structural and outstanding cosmetic condition, with no noteworthy imperfections
- This is truly the most magnificent armoire cabinet I have ever seen!
- Provenance: purchased in Indonesia, shipped to North Carolina, single owner (a Brigadier General and his wife)
- While there are no distinguishable makers marks, this is one of a number of fine custom furniture pieces featured in this multi-million estate less
