It is marked 4-1/2B, 188 on one side, Leader 2-69 on the other side. and 1-1/2B on top. It is very solid, varnished and has a metal plate nailed to the base. This last would be great as a decorative item or something more utilitarian, such as a doorstop. Shoemakers use this in shoe molding. See less
