These lovely Thonet-style bentwood chairs have generous, squared-off backs and caned seats. Original "Made in Italy" paper label still affixed to bottoms. Chairs are in excellent vintage condition being structurally stound and sturdy, and caning is in terrific condition. Original black varnish shows wear that is consistent with age and use. These minor "imperfections" tend to enhance the vintage character of these chairs. Varnish has been left in the original for those who prefer a vintage piece that shows a little age! less
