Antique Blanket Chest
Beautiful antique blanket chest with carved details. This lovely antique chest is a functional and beautiful piece for your home!
Of course, this antique chest has several indications that it dates to the 18th century. Firstly, the chest has beautiful stiles and paneled sides and back and front. Additionally, it has beautiful hand-carved details along the edge. Finally, it has beautiful leaf style incisions along the front top rail and side stiles.
Also, this chest has old hardware and rat-tail hinges. It has a split in the top lid, from age.
Despite, its age, this antique blanket chest has several fixes and modifications over the years. The bottom of the chest does look replaced. Additionally, it most likely has been refinished multiple times over the years. less
