Description: A piece full of movement and drama, this attractive provincial console table is a simple piece with sturdy and practical … more A piece full of movement and drama, this attractive provincial console table is a simple piece with sturdy and practical construction throughout. The rich painted surface is delightfully worn with an overall burnt-orange pigment. The apron is playful in its relentless undulation, a curvy profile matched in the distinct cabriole profile of the legs. These terminate in simple inset cuffed sabots.

Built to last the test of time, the thick Tenon-mortised corner joints are locked together with double pins, easily bearing the weight of the thick gray marble top. This is such a fun piece that brightens the interior with its worn historical surfaces and shows a great deal of personality in the form.
