Stunning cocoon floor lamp designed by Achille Castiglioni in Italy in the 1960s. This breathaking floor cocoon lamp features a lovely structure in black enameled metal with the three feet and the top in solid brass. The cocoon shade has a round shape with flat edges and has aged magnificently with a lovely beige even patina. The inside skeleton of the cocoon is made metal and is covered in a natural soft resin with a regular and sensual shape. The lamp is wired and tested and when lit is simply breathtaking. An unique and incredibly elegant floor lamp to enhance a midcentury-style project. Dimensions in cm: Diameter - 38 Height - 138 This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
