Description: Ice or champagne bucket by christofle silver plated, france, mid-20th century a stunning champagne bucket in silver plate, a heavy … more Ice or champagne bucket by christofle silver plated, france, mid-20th century a stunning champagne bucket in silver plate, a heavy quality piece by the famous french orfevrerie christofle of paris. This design has simple lines and footed base and two shell handles in art deco design dating to c.1950. Marked on the bottom of the bucket. The balance stamp for the goldsmith's mark, since 1935 and the quality hallmark of the "knight" between the letters o-c (which is of the two words "orfèvrerie christofle") the measurement is 22.5 cm high and with the handles 25.5 cm wide. Diagonally the bucket is 18 cm. The weight is 1990 grams this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
