A wonderful original Italian decorative box with an unusual shape that will be the perfect place to store your jewelry, treasures and trinkets. Rectangular box with high relief. The box is made of porcelain and richly decorated with polychrome reliefs depicting festive cherubs picking apples. Hand painted with raised flowers, cherubs and gold accents. On the reverse side there is a manufacturer's mark: R. Capodimonte, Italy, serial number 3480.
Light wear due to age. Good condition, cracks and restorations. There is a small, unnoticeable chip on the gold edging of the box, and two small chips on the lid. Great collector's item.
