Set of 4, vintage, Art Deco style, silver plate Drinking Cups or Goblets by WMF - Wurtthembergische MetallenFabrik, Germany between 1935 - 1945. (see notes on WMF below) These WMF marked cups measure 3 5/8" high, 2 7/8" in diameter cross the top and 2" in diameter at the bottom. The elegantly curved sides and comfortable size fit nicely in the hand. Heavier weight metal bottom. A handsome set of cups with a clean, simple design, perfect for juleps, wine or non-alcoholic drinks.
Notes on WMF: WMF, established in 1880 and by 1900 was the world's largest producer and exporter of quality metal tableware in silver, silver plate, brass and mixed metals. The company expanded to acquire producers in Austria, Poland and other countries in the early years, exporting much of these brands overseas.
