1940s NSC King Edward Silverplate Flatware - 20 Piece Set
At least 4 settings of five pieces each of silverplate flatware from National Silver Company, King Edward, mixed patterns.
Most of the pieces are from the King Edward Moss Rose pattern (1949). The knives and one soup spoon are from their similar King Edward Holiday pattern from around the same period (1951). The knives have hollow silverplate handles and stainless steel blades.
Marked on the base of all but the knives are the NSC mark in a crown, "King Edward", and "Silverplate." The knives are marked "N. S. Co." and "Stainless".
Total of 20 pieces including:
4 Dinner Knives (9 1/4")
4 Dinner Forks (7 1/2")
4 Salad Forks (6")
4 Soup spoons (6 7/8")
4 Teaspoons (5 3/4")
In very good condition, with light tarnish and scratches from normal wear.
