This iconic table design is minimalist, contemporary, eternally mid century modern and wholeheartedly eclectic. The glass on glass allows for it to be visually light and airy vs solid opaque panels that create a heavier perception even though both are solid.

The 1/4" thick beveled rectangular glass tabletop rests on a 1" thick glass base consisting of two thick-cut, heavy, triangular-shaped glass columns. They are bracketed horizontally at the top and at the bottom and are comprised of three solid chromed brass spokes that are reminiscent of turnstiles by shape. Pace produced other versions of this glass table concept that used smaller side brackets as opposed to these cap style brackets that are in our opinion superior. The brackets on this table protect the glass from chipping because they act as buffer from glass touching glass or hard surfaces like uncarpeted flooring. The styles that are held together with minimal center side brackets often chip with very little effort without any protection.. These brackets are proprietary and are designed by the Rosen Brothers for Pace. They are unique and sophisticated.

The two pedestal table bases can be used as single bases for two smaller tables by using two smaller table tops either round or square to create a pair of matching cocktail tables. In fact, the table could be used as a modern glass desk. See less
