A masterfully crafted stand of figured walnut featuring a single paneled drawer with a finished interior and two shelves between Renaissance style end supports. A beautifully made piece joined with a type of mortise and tenon where the mortise part is cleverly hidden. The tray form top has two sturdy, carved handles and back lip edge. The walnut has rich color and interesting grain pattern with a satin-like patina.

A very solid, high quality and versatile stand with fantastic detail. This is a wonderful antique in good condition which could be useful in any room. It would be lovely in a small space like a powder room or as a reading side table. less
