Still life with cherries is an original oil painting realized by Zhang Wei Guang (Mirror) in 2000s. Includes frame. Very Good conditions. Zhang Wei Guang , also called ‘mirror' was born in Helong Jang, China in 1968. Having made a deep formative research about the cromatism of the oil painting technique, the artist interprets the objects of the tradition through a ‘photographic' pictorial yield. His works are often still-life representations, like scenographic sets of flowers, painted potsherds and glass bowls, fruits. His small and medium size canvases show daily life objects, lying on tables of modern houses. The choice of diffuse and soft lights, with delicate and bright chromatic solutions, provides an atmosphere of silent and intimate harmony. Recovering the guohua Chinese tradition of the representation of landscape and the typical sino-intimateness of the pictorial floral decorations, his works celebrate the beauty of his culture. The art of composing is another typical element of the Chinese aesthetic heritage that mirror, as shown by his artistic name, knows well and re-creates on canvas. The choice of still-life subjects let him perform a poetical research about the relations between the forms of daily life objects and their evocative colour tones. His works are exhibited at the China transfer. Mirror is working and living in Beijing and in the Heilongjiang province. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
