Description: The Mexico Chandelier was designed by Jonathan Browning in the 1940's, it gently hangs from the ceiling on 4 cloth … more The Mexico Chandelier was designed by Jonathan Browning in the 1940's, it gently hangs from the ceiling on 4 cloth covered cords and emits a soft bright light that is elegant and functional . Made of polished brass, this example was manufactured in the late 1950's. Suggested bulbs from the manufacture are 40 watt, E-27. The electric has been controlled. The fixtures have a discolouration from the use of light bulbs that were too hot. We have controlled the fixtures and wires for safety. The silk shades are original and in very good condition. The canopy is height 9 cm, dia. 7 cm. Shades are 20 cm high, top dia. is 10 cm and bottom dia. is 16 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
