Rare French Art Déco bronze of a leaping cat by Lucien Alliot. (1877-1967) Signed LUC on the black Belgian marble base. Beautiful original, black patinated bronze. Animal sculptures by the famous sculptor from the Art Deco era were often signed with the initials of his first name Lucien LUC. The cat has almost cubist features and is very finely worked. Heavy, outstanding quality.
The dimensions refer to the sculpture. with base, the bronze is 19 cm high.
