This gorgeous piece has been well maintained through its 170 … more Detailed antique Napolean 111 marquetry inlaid 3 tier rosewood etagere. This gorgeous piece has been well maintained through its 170 or so years of life. An exceptional display of artwork in the detailed scrollwork of the marquetry inlaid combination of burlwood tulip ebony and possibly kingswood veneer. The top shelf has floral bouquet in the center as well as a bronze pierced gallery that has one slight bend to a small area as shown in the photos. This piece is believed to be an American antique circa 1850, carried to Cheltenham, Gloucestershire England where it was sold from Stow Antiques and later found in a large estate home in the Hudson Valley New York near the Vanderbilt Mansion in a gorgeous Victorian home on the Hudson River. less
