A fine silk embroidery by the renowned Shiga Embroidery Co, Japan. A lakeside pagoda or temple sits on the side of a small hill amongst fir/pine trees with a snow topped Mt. Fuji in the background, other mountains and trees in the distance.
The level of detail is exquisite - the various shades of silk give a three dimensional effect that shimmers. 'Gold' thread highlights are sewn by hand on to the structures and vegetation. The photographs do not do the work justice. Main colours are black, silver, white and gold.
Original stamped paper mat surround still in place. Ready for framing in a style that suits your home. Condition is very good.
