This is part of Chairish’s Fine Jewelry assortment.
A fine Victorian 14K Gold and Coral pendant necklace which was repurposed from an antique brooch. The pendant has a star at its center surmounted by a cabochon coral mounted with a gold star surrounded by eight cabochon coral beads. They are mounted on an openwork base leading to graduated tear drop shaped coral drops. The chain is marked 14K and is the adjustable type which allows you to wear the necklace 2 inches shorter. The top tests 14K and dates c. 1880. Condition is excellent.
