Definitely not a big box store design! Previously owned, we brought this modern piece to the shop to freshen up the paint and correct signs of wear by the previous owner. No breakage. This chest has been professionally lacquered by furniture industry professionals. There may be very slight marks that show as depressions in the finish along the bottom of the piece, nothing that catches the eye or detracts from the beauty. Three push to open drawers offer ample storage. Two in stock. In the photo showing the chests side by side, one chest is sitting on a dolly, thus the height difference in the photo.
