They are often referred … more This set of 6 classic model 3103 chairs was designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. They are often referred to as "T-chairs" or "Hammer chairs". They are made of teak molded plywood, and mounted on black tubular steel legs. Chairs are dated 1973, and have cosmetic signs of wear, marks and scratches on wooden and steel parts consistent with age and use. No cracks or visible structural issues whatsoever.

These chairs were originally designed in 1955. This set was manufactured in Denmark, and have a producer's stamp with the year 1973 and Fritz Hansen on the underside of each seat.

These chairs are an eye-catching example of mid-century design by the celebrated Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen. Jacobsen’s signature pieces are iconic representations of both the striking aesthetic of the designers of the era and their attention to aesthetics and practicality.

These pieces have no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity. However they are well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution. less
