This magnificent Persian-influenced Turkish hand-knotted rug is made by skilled artisans who have the ability to create the most exceptional vegetable dyes and use hand-spun wool. It's a one-of-a-kind Kafkaz, also known as Chobi, Chobi Peshawar, Oushak, or Ziegler rug. These handmade rugs are crafted in Pakistan using superior-quality wool imported from Australia, New Zealand, and Korea. They are available in two types of weaves: the Persian weave and the Mori weave. Artisans meticulously craft this rug by hand using the finest natural vegetable dyes extracted from local plants. They use a blend of hand-spun local and fine merino wool that results in an exquisite texture, higher lanolin content, and longer staple. The artisans sometimes incorporate natural or artificial silk into the pile to enhance specific motifs. The finished product is an awe-inspiring execution of flawless design and an understated palette that exudes elegance.
