Academic study, student work, life drawing full length portrait of a muscular nude male in side view standing pose. Signed to the left, 'Aulet' or 'Oulet'. Measures 23" x 17 1/2". Unframed. In overall good antique condition for age and type, rough deckle edge. Some side creases and folded edges. Drawing from live models was part of academic 19th-century art training, still to this day, as well as a way that artists typically made preparatory studies for paintings. See less
