Academic study, student work, life drawing full length portrait of a muscular nude male in side view standing pose. Unsigned. Measures 23 1/8" x 17 3/8". Unframed. In overall good antique condition for age and type, rough deckle edge. There are stains in the paper located at the lower left and right. Drawing from live models was part of academic 19th-century art training, still to this day, as well as a way that artists typically made preparatory studies for paintings. See less
