You can't see it unless you are looking for it, it's at the very bottom and about 3/4" off the ground. This happened in 1978 when my parents moved houses (the table was purchased in 1971.) less

1970's Post Modern Mid-Century Low Profile Marble Plinth Coffee / Side Table on Casters with a 1/4" original glass top.
Single owner, acquired 1971. (my parents purchased)
The stunning, rich, unique colors shades of amber and chestnut, burnt umber and auburn browns and other warm shades. The photos are in natural light.
The underside of the table (there will not be photos taken of this) is hollow. The only materials are the stone and the casters, not including the glass top, which is also original. **If there is any branding and I'm not sure if there is - I can't lift the table to determine. It was in a custom mid-century home alongside original Knoll and Mies Van der Rohe.
The marble slabs are 3/4" thick on all sides.
The table is in perfect condition except at the base on 1 of the sides there is a piece that broke off - you can't see it unless you look for it, it's at the base of the table and small. The photos show a close up and a normal distance - this happened during the table's 1st move around 1978. This can be fixed by a marble / furniture repair person, if interested - but it really takes nothing away from the table and it's been this way for 45 years.
I know the table was made in Italy, but I can't confirm. From memory, there is not an identifying label under the table and I am not sure what would have been done at that time. I am unable to pick up the table to photograph the underside, but I've seen it multiple times during a move.
PLS NOTE: THE PRICE IS VERY FIRM on this site. Thank you. less
