in the fifties, porcelain manufacture boomed. The form fürstin with its clear lines and its forms focused on function and design resulting in high-quality tableware.
a rare opportunity to find a tea or coffee set of the beautiful 1950’s fürstin model by the renowned furstenberg german manufacture.
the porcelain is ivory, very shiny and extremely soft to the touch. The gold decor is of a rare quality, it’s mat finish and rather dark colour is subtle.
this is a set for 10 people comprising 10 coffee cups and saucers, 10 cake or sandwich plates, a sugar pot and milk jug, 1 oval dish and 1 round dish.
it is in very good condition throughout, no crack, no chips, just a couple of tiny fading to the gold.
