This is one of my favorite ceramic tea service collection — includes a teapot with a lid, a creamer, and a sugar with a lid, 2 cups and two saucers. It is a love set.
They are in the shape of squash with yellow glaze on the body and blackish glaze on the vine handles and the foot. Inside glaze is beautiful dark green. The cutest part are the spikes on the body and textured vine handles and the feet—makes them look like real squash! They are so beautiful and I did not use them to serve tea. I am very happy simply by looking at them. They are signed with an initial “P”.
I am not sure what year they were made, and who the artist is.
