A beautiful and modern red porcelain demitasse coffee, espresso, or tea cup and saucer set, circa mid 20th century, France, Europe. This cup and saucer set are imprinted with a large red band on the saucer and yellow rope design on the edge. Colorful flower bouquet is depicted on the cup and rope design at the base and rim. Colorful botanical design elements enliven the space. Colors include purple, light green, blue, red, orange. Cup is a 1/2 size cup to traditional cups (aka demitasse): great for a half-cup of tea, coffee, double shot espresso, etc. With markers' marks "Valdrome", "Limoges", and "France" on underside of both pieces. Piece would make a nice gift.

Cup: 2.3" height x 2.25" diameter
Saucer: .75" height x 5" diameter.
