Up for sale is a large antique Chinese slightly waisted porcelain brush pot/Bitong* decorated with greyish-blue under a transparent overglaze full of tiny bubbles, an underglaze-blue four-character mark "Wen Zhang Shan Dou" in Kaishu script within a recessed circle on the center of the base, style of the Kangxi (1654-1722) but probably made in the late 19th century, late Qing Dynasty, in overall good condition with minor glaze wear and a few small chips to the edge of the base rim, private Washington DC collection
