The curves in the top reveal the mahogany in the middle of a shop-made maple veneer. The grooves are filled with clear epoxy and then finished with a satin top coat matching the wood and leaving a clean and beautiful surface. The rim is a separate, five-layer sandwich of mahogany and maple. The mahogany legs reflect the curves from the top and meet with a small maple detail. less
