Richard Hood was a WPA artist primarily known for printmaking. Hood was also involved in the Federal Art Project, the Philadelphia College of Art, and the American Color Print Society. From 1951-1982, Hood was a professor at the Philadelphia College of Art. From 1956-1983, Hood was the President of the Color Print Society.
