A charming Rose Cabat mid-century turquoise Feelie pottery vase or weed pot.
The piece measures 3" diameter and 3 1/2" high.
Signed by Cabat on the bottom of the piece.
We've owned several of Rose Cabat's feelie vases, but I really love the beautiful turquoise color in this particular piece.
About the artist:
Rose Cabat (1914 – 2015) was an American studio ceramicist, classified as part of the mid-century modern movement who was best known for her innovative glazes upon small porcelain pots called 'feelies' often in the shape of onions and figs, and bowls. At the time of her death, she was the oldest known actively practicing pottery artist in the United States
